Resume and Cover Letter
Times Are Tough and Jobs Are Getting
Scarce. I Needed a Serious Advantage.
It wasn’t so long ago that I found myself facing a career change. My employer was “downsizing” and I had to come up with another way of providing for my family. Companies can sugar coat the process of letting people go by using terms like down sizing, scaling back etc, but it all leaves the same sour taste in your mouth. I had an overwhelming fear that I had to overcome.
It had been years since I had written a resume or even searched for a job. As a matter of fact I had no idea how to present myself to prospective employers. Frankly, I wasn’t even sure I was employable. I mean after all, I had been at my job for over 25 years. I had become the employee that they wanted me to be. Would a new employer even want to invest time to train somebody that had been doing something else a certain way for so long? I had many of the same feelings that you are probably experiencing if you are looking for a new job.
I had been unemployed for a couple months and money was running out. I had to do something, and that is when I turned to the internet to find help. I feel so fortunate that I found the help I needed from some very good people. With their help I was able to acquire my dream job and I am now happily employed again. I know there are many people in the same position that I was, and for that reason I want to share the resources that I used to change things around for myself and my family.
The three following resources are what I used, and I highly recommend that you check them out to see if they can give you the edge you are going to need to succeed. I would wish you good luck with your endeavor, but the thing is that if you have the right kind of help and guidance, you won’t need any luck!
